Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24, 1981) is an American political commentator. Her past roles included being a presidential candidate and an anchor on TV at MSNBC. She is also a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and an earlier co-host on the show The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. In May 2021, Ball and Enjeti announced that they were leaving the show in order to release their own independent project titled Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball co-hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast with Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared on network programs such as CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball is currently married to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball credits her ongoing interest in politics to her experiences as a new mother during the primaries of 2008. She also followed the US presidential election from Jordan when she was in Jordan. She was able see the impact that it had on the citizens of her country and developed an appreciation for the worldwide reach of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st district for the 2010 election. She lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC program The Cycle from June 2012 to July 2015. She co-hosted the MSNBC show The Cycle from June 2012 to July 2015.
